Bytebus Scam Report
It’s always important to do your due diligence before investing your money in any online venture, and this holds especially true for crypto cloud mining companies.
Unfortunately, not everyone is diligent enough, and scammers are well aware of this.
Recently, the Better Business Bureau received a report about a crypto cloud mining company called Bytebus, which claims to offer cloud mining services on their website.
Unfortunately, this report paints a picture of a scam that has already taken thousands of dollars from unsuspecting investors.
According to the report, the site is well-designed, and the company claims to have been in business since 2018.
They also claim to have good customer service and seamless deposits and withdrawals.
The customer in question initially had a positive experience with Bytebus, but things took a turn for the worse in the new year.
On January 2nd, when the customer attempted to withdraw $8900 in profit to their Coinbase account, Bytebus informed them that they would have to pay taxes on all their deposits for the previous year, which amounted to $2220.
The customer agreed to pay the taxes, but upon logging into their account the next day, they were informed that their account was “illegal” and that they would have to pay an additional $1200 in order to withdraw their money or their account would be frozen and lost.
This comes out to a total of $13,120 dollars that the customer has lost to this company.
The customer has screenshots of all their account information and chat conversations with the company, and they have shared them with the Better Business Bureau.
It’s not just this one customer who has had a bad experience with Bytebus.
A quick search of Trustpilot shows that there are many people who have been scammed in the same way.
They all report that after they have paid the taxes they were being asked to pay, they found their accounts locked and were unable to withdraw their funds.
It is highly suspicious that this is not just a one-time error and it may be a regular practice of Bytebus.
The location of the scammer is unknown, and the contact information provided on the website (email: contact@bytebus.com and phone number) is also unverifiable.
The business name of the website is also quite suspicious “Bytebus / Best Cloud mining website,” such name does not give any credibility.
It’s important to note that the date reported on this scam is January 3, 2023, so it is relatively new, and it’s likely that there are more victims out there who have yet to come forward.
Additional Bytebus Reviews
It’s clear from these testimonials that Bytebus has a history of taking people’s money and making it difficult, if not impossible, for them to withdraw their funds.
One customer mentions that they tried to warn others on Trustpilot a month ago, but their review was removed, which seems to suggest that the company has been able to manipulate the platform to remove negative reviews.
Another customer expresses frustration with Trustpilot and the number of false positive reviews that may have led people to trust the company and invest their money.
Several customers mention that they were initially able to make withdrawals without any issues, but that things took a turn for the worse in January when the company suddenly started demanding additional taxes and fees in order to process withdrawals.
One customer even claims that they were told that their account was “illegal” and that they would have to deposit $1200 in order to be able to withdraw their money, which is clearly extortion.
There are also reports that the company has created a new website, bytebus-invest.com, which is likely an attempt to continue scamming people under a different name.
Customers are advised to be extremely cautious and to stay away from this company and any other websites that seem to be connected to it.
It’s also worth mentioning that several customers warn others not to invest their life savings into this type of venture, as investing is inherently risky and there’s always a chance of losing money.
The main issue here is that the customers have been duped by a company that is clearly a scam, and they are now unable to withdraw their money, which is a big problem.
In summary, it’s clear that Bytebus is a scam that has taken thousands of dollars from unsuspecting investors.
The company’s practices are questionable and several customers have reported being extorted for additional fees and taxes in order to withdraw their money.
It’s highly recommended that you avoid this company and any other websites that seem to be connected to it.
Bytebus Review Conclusion
In conclusion, it is highly recommended not to invest in Bytebus, as it seems that the company is a scam and the report received by the Better Business Bureau confirms this.
The website is well-designed, but the company’s practices are questionable and many people have lost money to them.
It is always important to be vigilant when investing your money and to do your due diligence before handing over any money to an online venture, especially in the world of cryptocurrency.
