CoinPentagon Review: Stealing from Old People SCAM!

Welcome to our CoinPentagon Review, in which we investigate the website currently found at coinpentagon.com.

Today, February 6, 2023, we received a very troubling complaint regarding coinpentagon.com by a 72-year-old lady who claims to have been scammed by them. She writes:

I was scammed by Donald Richmond Traynor, Christopher Lawnings, and BaristaRon Gullion. I met Donald on a dating website and he convinced me to invest over 400K in Coinpentagon.com, a crypto website based in England. He was the one who opened the account and did all the transactions.

After I sold all my stocks and invested the money, the website informed me that I had to pay 100K for IRS fees. When I was ready to withdraw, they demanded another 100K and threatened to put me in jail if I didn’t pay within 72 hours. I was so stressed that I went to the police station and got a report, but my money was already lost.

Christopher Lawnings, who I knew from a friend, introduced me to a fake lawyer who charged me $5000 but it didn’t help. The lawyer asked for 70K to be transferred to a wallet and later demanded another 100K. That’s when I knew I had been scammed and went to the police.

These three individuals, Donald Richmond Traynor, Christopher Lawnings, and BaristaRon Gullion, manipulated and scammed me out of my money.

So is CoinPentagon Legit or is it a SCAM?

CoinPentagon Review

Right from the start, we can tell something is highly suspicious about Coin Pentagon.

As a phone number they only provide the UK area code “+44.”

We contacted support to ask what is their phone number. They answered:

Get in touch with our affiliated Bitcoin Forensic Investigators at CNC Intelligence for free by filling out the form below.

We can only share our Admin WhatsApp number

Just for chatting on how to invest on Coinpentagon.com

We asked for the admin’s name, and they replied:

    Address her as Admin

They did provide the following number: +15404973660, which is a Virginia, US number.

The domain coinpentagon.com was registered through PDR Ltd. on May 12, 2021 for 2 years. It is hosted by American Registry Internet Numbers.

Even though the website is almost 2 years old, it does not appear to get much traffic and has gained only two backlinks from one low authority page.

This suggests that this website is not perhaps intended to be discovered organically, but is only used to refer victims to it in order to scam them.

    Who is Behind CoinPentagon?

They claim to be registered “in the United Kingdom with a registration number under the license of the license of under license [sic] of the company’s house: 1152458.” We checked with the UK Companies House and found that this number actually belongs to a different company, Pecuniary Limited, which is a business licensed to engage in accounting and auditing activities.

They even claim that their address is that of Pecuniary Limited.

The fact that CoinPentagon is using fake company information and even a fake certificate of incorporation is a clear sign of scam.

And while as we saw the website was only registered in 2021, in the About page, they write “Since 2010, we offer the best conditions for financial specialists from Great England and will be prepared to see you among them.”

Googling this text, we find many other sites are using it, all of which look similar to CoinPentagon. This indicates that the scammers who created CoinPentagon have additional websites in their arsenal.

Examples of other websites created by the people who made CoinPentagon.com include:

    • firstboommarket.com
    • everyday-megatrading.ltd
    • napoleon-trading.com
    • swiftfxmining.online
    • edgefinance-ltd.com

Another characteristic of the websites created by these scammers is a menu item titled “REPRESENTATIVE.” Searching for this reveals additional websites:

    • intellectual-minners.com
    • venture-capitals.ltd
    • empire-gold.com
    • income-fixed.com

And when we search for a random text from their homepage such as “is a very experienced and promising organization in the field of trustee administration and long-haul ventures,” we find additional potentially fraudulent websites:

    • primefx-xm.com
    • stocktradeindex.com
    • pinnaclefxtrade.com
    • graviscointrade.com

The list goes on and on we we believe we have found another network of scam investment sites designed to rob people out of their life savings.

    Is CoinPentagon a SCAM?

Another clear indication that CoinPentagon and its related sites are scams is their unrealistic offerings. CoinPentagon, for example, offers four investment plans offered with different minimum and maximum investment amounts, return percentages, and time frames.

    • 25% after 24 hours with minimum investment of $30 and maximum investment of $500, with principal return and total return of 125%.
    • 50% after 24 hours with minimum investment of $500 and maximum investment of $10,000, with principal return and total return of 150%.
    • 100% after 2 days with minimum investment of $1,000 and maximum investment of $20,000, with principal return and total return of 200%.
    • 120% after 2 days with minimum investment of $2,000 and maximum investment of $1,000,000, with principal return and total return of 220%.

So for example, let’s say we invest $400,000 like the complainer we mentioned at the beginning of this article. If you invested $400,000 in the 4th investment plan (120% after 2 days), you would earn a total return of 220%. Therefore, your earnings would be $400,000 * 220% = $880,000.

    Sounds amazing, right?

This just reminds us the old saying that if something seems too good to be true, then it probably is!

    CoinPentagon Review – Bottom Line

In conclusion, there are numerous red flags that suggest CoinPentagon is a scam, from the unrealistic investment plans to the use of fake company information and the discovery of a network of related fraudulent websites.

We advise all potential investors to stay clear of CoinPentagon and to always thoroughly research any investment platform before making a deposit.

I lost about over 300K by the guy name Donald Richmond Traynor, his phone 585 310 1735. I met him at dating.com and maybe he was using someone photo and scammed my money. when I want my money, the company asking me to pay the IRS fee for 100K and if I don’t pay put me 3 to 5 years in jail. This all happen 2022 to up to now. I did file the police report, but can’t do anything. I learn my lesson.
