Someone contacted me on WhatsApp and asked if I was interested in trading. After following their messages for a while, I finally reached out to them and started the process. I set up an account on Kraken and deposited money. Then, they asked me to create another account on Mxkex and transfer funds there. I got worried and asked for an “emergency withdrawal,” but they started asking for reasons. Finally, they accepted and started the withdrawal process, but I never received the funds back to Kraken. I sent them several messages, but they didn’t respond anymore.

Provide secure, reliable digital asset trading and asset management services to millions …” The homepage’s description is: “We’re sorry but bbkmobile doesn’t work properly without JavaScript enabled. Please enable it to continue.”
What is bbkmobile? Apparently, there was a website at bbkmobile.com. It was first registered on June 1, 2007, has been updated on September 14, 2022, and is currently set to expire on June 1, 2024. The registrar is Beijing Brandma International Networking Technology Ltd while the hosting is CNC Group CHINA169 Guangdong Province Network. Seems like a Chinese operation…
It has a 3% Authority Score, according to Semrush, as well as 695 backlinks from 180 referring domains, including several strong backlinks from Chinese websites, such as 163.com.
According to milonic.com, it is owned by Zhang Frank (vivo Mobile Communication Co., Ltd).

There’s also a Reddit thread about this website. It suggests that Mxkex.ltd is a scam operation that falsely generates numbers to make investors think they are making a lot of money on their platform through options. They have fake miners asking for money and try to get investors to deposit more funds via USDT. The scammers behind the operation are named “Cindy” and “Casper,” and they provide “signals” through a WhatsApp chat group called Nugget Project Club46. People have been reaching out on Reddit chat sympathetically but are also likely scammers. One user is trying to withdraw their funds but is being asked to pay more and more fees, including commission, taxes, and miners’ fees.

They offer a wide range of services and allegedly have a professional and experienced team dedicated to providing a safe, convenient, stable, and low-cost platform for global cryptocurrency contract trading users.
Mxkex uses the OTC mechanism platform with no cash mechanism and provides contracts based on BTC, ETH, BSV, BCH, LTC, ZEC, ETC, EOS, and other mainstream cryptocurrency international indexes.

Link to an email address on the website does not work and neither are any social media links provided, such as LinkedIn profiles, nor telephone numbers. Support is provided through a live chat page.
According to the homepage, the MXKEX Global station is an online cryptocurrency trading platform that offers trading services in various cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, EOS, BCH, ETC, TRB, IOTA, SNT, WICC, and NEO. It provides secure and reliable trading services to millions of users in more than 130 countries globally.
The platform has a comprehensive financial risk control system and anti-theft system to ensure the safety of funds. Customers can complete recharge withdrawals within three minutes, and there is a 24-hour online audit to protect customers from missing investment opportunities.
The platform strictly selects high-quality encryption projects and filters out 80% high-risk projects.
It supports IOS, Android, and Windows platforms and offers full-service functions. However, the app is not available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, but has to be downloaded independently, which is obviously not recommended since we do not trust Mxkex.
