Bitcoin Bonus Scam
Here’s a recent complaint posted on the Better Business Bureau (BBB):
I received emails from Bitcoin Bonus informing me that I was owed $29,000 for signing up for Bitcoin mining a year ago. They claimed to have tracked my account using the IP address I had at the time of signing up. I spent two days checking to make sure I wasn’t being scammed, but unfortunately, they ended up stealing $160 from me and I now regret not being more cautious and I feel foolish for falling for their scam.
And one person reports on Reddit, titled “I received an email saying I have money from ‘Bitcoin bonus'”:
I received an email indicating that I have $22,000 to withdraw from a Bitcoin Bonus mining account. I am unsure of the process to withdraw my funds. Can you please guide me on how to do so?
Followed by the answer:
Beware of a widespread scam involving Bitcoin Bonus. The scam typically begins with an email offering a large payment, such as $22,000, followed by a request for a fee, such as $64, to release the payment. This is a fraudulent scheme and should be ignored. Do not send any money or fees.
The scam described in these complaints involves fraudulent emails from a group or individual claiming to be from Bitcoin Bonus. These emails claim that the recipient is owed a large sum, such as $22,000 or $29,000, for signing up for a Bitcoin mining program. The scammer may use personal information, such as an IP address, to make the offer seem legitimate.
However, the scam becomes apparent when the recipient is asked to pay a fee, such as $64, to receive the promised payment. This is a classic advance fee scam in which the victim is asked to pay a fee to obtain a more significant sum, but the more considerable sum is never received.

4saxo.com.cn Scam
Here’s a complaint posted on the BBB:
I was scammed on a crypto site now the site is not found on the server , I wired transferred 200 from binance over to 4saxo.com.cn now I can’t access their website and can’t get my money back I was told on their website before it was not found by the server that I needed to deposit 2000 usdt in order to withdraw the current amount of money I had
4saxo.com.cn is not an active domain. It was registered for one year through the Chinese registrar, Xiamen Yiming Technology Co., Ltd., on October 12, 2022. And less than 5 months later, it’s already down.
The registrant’s Contact is Xiong Man, with the email address 9171668@qq.com.
A fraudulent cryptocurrency trading platform scammed the person in this complaint.
The website reportedly requested a minimum deposit of 2,000 US dollars to withdraw funds, but has since been taken down and is no longer accessible.
This is a common tactic used by scam artists in cryptocurrency, who use flashy websites and convincing language to lure unsuspecting victims into depositing money.
Once the scam artists have obtained the funds, they often disappear, leaving the victims no way to recover their money.
It is essential to thoroughly research any cryptocurrency trading platform before using it and to be cautious of websites that make unrealistic promises or requests for large deposits. Always look for reviews and warnings from reputable sources, and be especially wary of websites that have recently been registered or have a short operation history.
In this case, it would be a good idea to file a complaint with the relevant authorities and to consider reporting the scam to the relevant authorities, including the local police and the FBI.
Bitcryptfx Scam
The final scam we will be looking at in this article is Bitcryptfx, on which the following complaint was made on the BBB by a person who claims to lose $1,900:
They say it was for investment, they lie and take my money Dollars
The reported email address is support@bitcryptfx.com.
The domain bitcryptfx.com was registered on July 25, 2022, for one year through NameCheap, Inc. Cloudflare protected it.
It seems not to be getting much traffic.
Bitcryptfx Review
Bitcryptfx is a blockchain solutions platform that offers various services, including a currency wallet, bitcoin escrow service, security storage, and low-cost transactions.
Their phone number is +49 (176) 839 341 32. (A valid German number).
Bitcryptfx claims they are a brand name of Vie Finance A.E.P.E.Y. S.A., a German Investment Firm licensed and regulated by HCMC (license no. 4/792/20.07.2017) and General Commercial Registry no: 122000301000.
So, is Bitcryptfx legit?
No, we don’t think so.
The fact that they are a scam is revealed when we search for some of the text on the Bitcryptfx website. For example, the phone number is shared by many additional websites, such as:

Most of these websites also look like Bitcryptfx and have the same favicon, which indicates that the same scammers are behind them all. Further investigation reveals that these are part of an enormous network of cryptocurrency scams.
Complaints We Received
On September 22, 2023, we received the following complaint:
I received an email claiming that I had a crypto-mining website operating for a year without my knowledge and that I had amassed over $35,000. To collect, they said all I needed to do was pay for the conversion of the Bitcoin. I paid $350 twice to a website called ‘Bitcoin Bonus’.

We saw three scams related to cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin Bonus, 4saxo.com.cn, and bitcryptfx.com.
Bitcoin Bonus scam involves fraudulent emails from individuals claiming to be from Bitcoin Bonus offering large payments for signing up for a Bitcoin mining program. The scammer asks for a fee to receive the promised payment.
4saxo scam involves a fraudulent cryptocurrency trading platform that requested a minimum deposit of $2,000 and then disappeared, leaving the victims with no way to recover their money.
Bitcryptfx scam is a blockchain solutions platform that claims to have low-cost transactions and 24/7 customer support. However, a complaint has been made about losing $1,900.
