SuperCoin Scam Review – Unveiling the Mystery

Hello and welcome to our SuperCoin Scam Review!

Two days ago, on February 28, 2023, we received the following complaint:

I invested 97k in a cryptocurrency called Supercoin through an online investment platform. I earned a return of 362k. However, the platform is now asking for an additional 79k to withdraw my assets, which is a new requirement for me. I am unable to make any withdrawals and my money is being held hostage.

So what is SuperCoin and is it a SCAM?

So first of all, we do not have a website for SuperCoin in the above report. The first step in our SuperCoin review then is to identify who the scammer is.

Flipkart Super Coins

Flipkart Super Coins is a rewards program offered by the Indian e-commerce vendor Flipkart to both Flipkart Plus and non-Plus customers. It awards points, which can be used to redeem exciting rewards, such as discounts on third-party websites, and OTT subscriptions, among others.

The program awards customers two Super Coins for every INR 100 spent, while Flipkart Plus customers receive four Super Coins. The points can be earned through placing orders on Flipkart and other brand partners, and by playing games on the Flipkart app.

Super Coins can be redeemed or used to avail various product discounts, offers, and deals on the website. Flipkart is also providing exciting rewards that can be redeemed using Super Coins, such as discounts on Nautica, Police, Spinz, Carlton London, and Jaguar, and FREE food coupons up to 100%, which includes Pizza Hut and Domino’s vouchers.

Furthermore, Flipkart is offering multiple deals on OTT subscriptions like Disney+ Hotstar, ZEE5, SonyLiv, and more in exchange for Super Coins.

On their Facebook page, Flipkart has introduced the SuperCoin League, which allows users to participate by creating their dream team to win big prizes. However, some customers have shared negative experiences with Flipkart’s services, such as fraudulent sellers, slow delivery, and poor customer service.

The Flipkart SuperCoin game has also been accused of being fake by some users who feel that the high scores are not attainable, with the default score set at 2170. Each player is required to answer ten questions in the game, with a reward of 200 points per correct answer.

The bonus points equal the time remaining after answering a question. The maximum possible score is 2160, and players need to answer questions quickly to receive bonus points, making scores beyond 2200 practically impossible. Despite this, some players have won 50 super coins with 2136 points.

Another person reports collecting supercoins on Flipkart by watching videos for three months and accumulating more than 2400 supercoins before March 26th, 2021. However, their supercoins were suddenly deducted for donations, leaving only 725. The person claims they did not make any donations and contacted Flipkart customer care, but they were told the fault was likely from their side or a family member’s. The person is frustrated because 1764 of their supercoins were deducted without their permission.

    SuperCoin-Trade.com

We found evidence of a website at supercoin-trade.com which may have been registered on November 5, 2020, but it’s no longer online and there’s no information available about it.

The title of the website may have been “SAV3MOON.”

    Superxsyp.vip

On Scamwatcher.com we find a report which details a suspected investment scam with the Pseudonym “SuperCoin” involving the phone number +3544212434 (a valid Iceland number) and the website superxsyp.vip, where the person claims to have lost over $100,000 after being asked to pay a large platform tax of $26,525.

    SuperCoin.shop

Another defunct website used to be found at supercoin.shop, however currently it’s giving a message that “This page is blocked by service provider.”

It may have been a Russian website.

We see it’s advertised on social media such as Twitter and VK by Bestexchangers.ru (“monitoring of exchangers).”

From PerfectMoney.is we learn that SuperCoin.shop is an automated service that allows users to exchange Perfect Money for various electronic money and cryptocurrencies, as well as buy and sell Perfect Money using bank cards. The service operates 24/7. The trust score of the website is 42.5.

On cryptolisting.org SuperCoin (SUPER) is listed as a cryptocurrency along that uses both Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS) algorithms. The PoS block time is 20 seconds, with a first-year annual rate of 100%, which reduces to 50% in year two and 1% in year three. The PoW payout halves every 45 days, from an initial 512 SUPER to a minimum of 1 coin per block.

SuperCoin also has superblocks with increased payouts every three hours, every day, and every five days. There was a 5% premine for the initial public offering (IPO) of the coin. The cryptocurrency is based on the X11 algorithm, which increases security and can be mined using a regular CPU/GPU.

Strangely, however, perhaps by mistake, it is associated with the website SuperCoin.shop.

We also find this coin associated with another website, SuperCoin.nl.

We’re not sure however if the coin mentioned in coincurb.com is the same Supercoin from supercoin.nl since the domain supercoin.nl was registered on August 22, 2017.
